We returned home recently from an unforgettable tour of India followed by a
short stay in the Maldives. Now that we have had time to reflect on all that
we have seen and done, there are a few things I would like you to know.
Firstly, we were so very pleased to meet you and much enjoyed your kind
hospitality when you took us to dinner. The book you gave us will be
treasured. It was a very generous and unexpected gesture. We were extremely
impressed with the tour that you organised for us. The beauties of Rajasthan
will be with us for ever and we have many photographs to keep the memories
fresh. Our driver Vijay was absolutely first-rate, the guides were
well-informed and professional and the hotels you chose were very good value
for money. You and your company were fantastic.
We were only sorry that we didn't know sooner that you also have offices in
Kerala! Although we very much enjoyed our holiday in that beautiful part of
India, the service offered by the other tour company was extremely
disappointing when compared with the professionalism of your team. They let
us down badly on at least four occasions. We have had to write a letter of
complaint and are still waiting for a reply.
So thank you, Dilip, not only for a well-organised and thoroughly enjoyable
holiday, but also for making our first visit to India such an unforgettable
and rewarding experience. Our meeting with you was a real bonus; we loved
hearing about your family and gaining a little insight into Indian life.
