27 June (Sun) : In Leh Day Excursion visit Shey Palace, Thiksey and Stok Palace on the way back visit to Tibetan refugee Camp at Choglamsar. Full day excursion to Hemis to visit the festival.

The courtyard of Hemis - the biggest Buddhist monastery in Ladakh, is the stage of the famous ˜Hemis ™ Festival, which celebrates the birth anniversary of Guru Padmasambhava. Splendid masked dances are performed to the accompaniment of cymbals, drums and long horns. A colorful fair, displaying some beautiful handicrafts, is the special highlight of the festival. Hemis to witness the most famous monastic festival of Ladakh. Return to Leh in the evening.

29 June (Tue) : Leh - Hemis Full day visit Hemis Festival including Hemis Gompa. HEMIS GOMPA: Founded in 1630's by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgayl, Hemis is one of the largest and richest gompa of Ladakh. The two-day festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava. During the festival the monks dressed in colorful robes wearing different forms of masks dance slowly around the main tarchen (flagpole) in the main courtyard.

Afternoon join the 2nd session of the dance which takes into different forms. Later explore the richness of Hemis in its various Dukhangs (halls). && goddesses.

June 30 (Wed) : Leh - Alchi Afternoon visit the Alchi monastery and explore the nature beauty of Alchi village.

1 July (Thu) : Alchi - Lamayuru – Leh Visit the monastery. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh which is 4/5 hours driver. (9W 610, Dep. 0735 - Arr. 0850 hrs) Morning transfer to airport to board the flight to Delhi. Assistance at Delhi airport on arrival and transfer to your residence.
