The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is one of Nepal’s most rewarding Himalayan journeys, offering a unique combination of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and adventure. Starting from the lively city of Pokhara, the trail passes through charming Gurung villages, lush rhododendron forests, cascading waterfalls, and terraced fields before opening into the mighty amphitheater of the Annapurna Sanctuary. The trek culminates at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m), where trekkers are surrounded by towering peaks such as Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, and Gangapurna.

After arrival, drive through scenic countryside and river valleys to Pokhara. Evening leisure at the lakeside of Phewa Lake.

Overnight in Pokhara
Morning drive to Kimche village. Begin trek uphill to Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung settlement. Explore local Gurung culture, architecture, and visit the Gurung Museum.
Highlights: Gurung culture, stone-paved alleys, Annapurna South & Hiunchuli views.
Overnight in Ghandruk
Trek through forests of oak and rhododendron. Cross Chhomrong village, gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Descend to Chhomrong Khola and climb up to Sinuwa.
Highlights: Himalayan views, terraced fields, traditional villages.
Trek through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests. Pass Bamboo and Dovan settlements before reaching Himalayan Hotel. Climb steadily to Deurali.
Highlights: Lush forest trails, waterfalls, possible wildlife sightings (langurs, pheasants).

Trek gradually uphill to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Continue into the Annapurna Sanctuary, surrounded by towering peaks. Reach Annapurna Base Camp and enjoy stunning 360° views.
Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, Glacier Dome, and panoramic Annapurna Sanctuary.
Overnight in Annapurna base camp.
Descend through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, and Dovan. Return to lush green forests and bamboo groves.
Highlights: Retrace diverse landscapes, river crossings, and alpine-to-forest transitions.
Overnight in Bamboo
Trek down to Chhomrong Khola and ascend to Chhomrong village. Descend steeply to Jhinu Danda. Relax at nearby natural hot springs on the banks of Modi Khola.
Highlights: Hot spring baths, river valley relaxation, traditional villages.
Overnight in Jhinu Danda.
Final trek to Siwai. Drive back to Pokhara and enjoy the lakeside evening.
Highlights: Phewa Lake boating, nightlife in Pokhara, shopping for handicrafts.
Overnight in Pokhara.
