Welcome to your ‘Eastern Himayalan Delight’ tour! On arrival at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station (on your own), you will be transferred to Gangtok where on arrival you will check into your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Early in the morning depart for a half-day excursion to Tshangu Lake. (one has toobtain a permit directly in Gangtok to visit Tshangu Lake). Enjoy a Yak ride around this lake (on direct payment basis). The rest of the time is at leisure to shop around the Tibetan market.
Proceed on a city tour visiting Do Drul Chorten, the Enchery Monastery and the marvelous collection of orchids in the Orchid Sanctuary.
In the morning drive to Kalimpong. Enjoy half-day sightseeing tour of Kalimpong in the afternoon.
