Itinerary Details

Day 01 : Delhi - Corbett National Park

Morning drive to Corbett National Park (6 hours) located on the bank of the river Ram Ganga on the foothills of the  Himalayas. This tiger reserve is named after Jim Corbett the legendary hunter and conservationist. These dense sub - Himalayan jungles are rich in a  variety of flora and fauna.

Day 02 : Corbett National Park

Morning  Jeep excursion in the Wildlife Park. Afternoon excursion on elephant back.

Day 03 : Corbett National Park - Dudhwa National Park

Morning depart for Dudhwa National Park, on the Indo-Nepal border. Another sub-Himalayan jungle with many swamp deer, tigers and a variety of birds. The one horned Rhino was rehabilitated here from the jungles of Assam a few year ago. This wildlife reserve is almost equal in area (490 sq kms) to the Corbett National Park. This park is not on the regular wildlife programs. This jungle also offers a rich variety  of flora and fauna. On arrival check-in at the Forest Lodge.

Day 04 : Dudhwa National Park

Day 05 : Dudhwa National Park - Lucknow

A 7 hours drive through the countryside brings us to Lucknow, capital city of Uttar Pradesh state and one of the major cities from where India’s first War of Independence gained its initial momentum in 1857. Lucknow is also famous for its rich and distinct cultural heritage mainly promoted by the Nawabs (rich noble lords) known for their luxurious lifestyle and extreme politeness.

Day 06 : Lucknow

Fullday city tour of Lucknow visiting the Chota and Bada Imam Bara ( with one of the largest vaunted halls of the world ), La Martiniere School ( built by a Frenchman named Claude Martin in 1776 and on his death in 1800, made into a school), the Residency ruins and the colourful bazaars.

Evening Tonga ride (horse drawn carriage) through the Meena Bazaar.

Day 07 : Lucknow - Delhi

Afternoon transfer from hotel to Airport/Railway Station to board flight/superfast air-conditioned train to Delhi

On arrival check-in to a hotel.
