Itinerary Details

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Met at the airport on arrival in Delhi and transfer to a hotel.

Afternoon city tour of Old Delhi including Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi's Memorial), the Jama Masjid (Universal Mosque), the Red Fort and fabled Chandni Chowk (Silver Street).

Day 02 : Delhi - Corbett National Park

Morning drive to Corbett National Park located on the bank of the river Ram Ganga on the foothills of the  Himalayas. This tiger reserve is named after Jim Corbett the legendary hunter and conservationist and  is about a 7 hour drive from Delhi. These sub - Himalayan jungles are rich in a  variety of flora and fauna.

Day 03 : Corbett National Park

Morning and Afternoon excursions in the Wildlife Park with one of the excursions on elephant back.

Day 04 : Corbett National Park - Dudhwa National Park

Morning depart for Dudhwa National Park. A sub-Himalayan jungle with swamp deer, tigers and a variety of birds.

On arrival check-in at the Forest Lodge

Day 05 : Dudhwa National Park

Morning and Afternoon excursions in the Wildlife Park

Day 06 : Dudhwa National Park - Lucknow

A 8 hours drive through the countryside brings us to Lucknow, capital city of Uttar Pradesh state and one of the major cities from where India’s first War of Independence gained its initial momentum in 1857. Lucknow is also famous for its rich and distinct cultural heritage mainly promoted by the Nawabs (rich noble lords) known for their luxurious lifestyle and extreme politeness.

Day 07 : Lucknow

Fullday city tour of Lucknow visiting the Chota and Bada Imam Bara ( with one of the largest vaunted halls of the world ), La Martiniere School ( built by a Frenchman named Claude Martin in 1776 and on his death in 1800, made into a school), the Residency ruins and the colourful bazaars.

Evening ride a Tonga, horse drawn carriage through the Meena Bazaar.

Day 08 : Lucknow - Varanasi

Morning depart for Varanasi by surface, a 8 hours drive.

On arrival check-in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure or optional dance performance at a old mansion on the banks of the river Ganges

Day 09 : Varanasi - Khajuraho

Early morning boat ride at the holy river Ganges, to see the devout praying and bathing on the Ghats (banks), with funeral pyres burning in the distance.

After breakfast tour of the bylanes and temples of the city.

Afternoon transfer to airport to catch flight for Khajuraho. On arrival in Khajuraho check-in at hotel.

Day 10 : Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh

Morning visit the architectural  marvels of   " The Khajuraho Temples". These Hindu temples with erotic carvings were built 1000 years ago with art and architecture merged to perfection.

Afternoon 4 hours drive to Bandhavgarh, a rich grassland jungle with a very high probability of tiger sighting .

On arrival check-in at a jungle lodge

Day 11 : Bandhavgarh

Morning and Evening excursions to the parks for wildlife viewing and Tiger Tracking

Day 12 : Bandhavgarh - Kanha

Morning drive of about 4-5 hours to Kanha National Park, another grassland  located in the southern end of Madhya Pradesh and famous as the abode of the Gaur or Indian Wild Buffalo. The Gaur is a magnificent animal standing upto 6 ft at the shoulder.

Evening Jeep excursion to the Park.

Day 13 : Kanha

Morning and Evening excursions to the park for wildlife viewing.

Day 14 : Kanha - Nagpur - Delhi Departure

Morning transfer to Nagpur to board the connecting flight for Delhi.

On arrival transfer to a hotel for wash and change.

Late evening transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey.
